Personal Information

Connected Cloud Storage (Optional)

When you choose to connect a supported third-party cloud storage provider, such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or Box, Cinemore requests only the permissions required to browse and play the files you select. Cinemore stores the resulting access and refresh tokens in the storage configuration on your device or on your self-hosted Cinemore Server, depending on the mode you use. Removing that storage source deletes its stored credentials from that device or server.

For providers whose OAuth client secret must remain confidential, Cinemore Cloud temporarily processes an OAuth authorization code or refresh token to exchange or refresh credentials on your behalf. Cinemore Cloud does not persist those user credentials in its database and does not receive, store, or proxy your media content. File names, folder structure, file metadata, and media bytes are accessed directly by your device or self-hosted Cinemore Server from the connected provider to provide the browsing and playback features you request.

Google API Services User Data

When Cinemore accesses Google Drive data, its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Drive data is used only to provide the user-facing cloud-storage browsing and playback features that you request. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our services
• Improve, personalize, and expand our services
• Communicate with you about our services
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
• Connect, browse, and play files from a cloud storage provider only when you choose to connect that provider
• To identify your device and prevent malicious programs, anti-cheating, improve service security, and ensure operational quality and efficiency, we will collect your device information (including IMEI, device serial number, OAID, MEID, Android ID, IMSI, GUID, MAC address, SIM card serial number), installed app information, or running process information.
• To implement junk cleaning and speed optimization features, we will request your storage permission to access external storage information (SD card data) to check your phone's CPU, memory, and SD card status.
• When you play videos or other content, to adapt to your device status, we will access device sensors such as gravity and acceleration to identify your device's portrait or landscape orientation.
• When you share or receive shared information, we need to access your clipboard locally to read the passwords, sharing codes, and links contained therein to enable features or services such as redirection, sharing, and activity integration.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

• Service providers who perform services on our behalf
• Legal authorities when required by law
• Business partners in connection with business transfers or similar arrangements

Disconnecting Cloud Storage

You can disconnect a cloud storage provider at any time by removing it from Cinemore. You can also revoke Cinemore's access from the connected provider's account settings. Disconnecting removes the stored credentials from the Cinemore storage record; it does not delete files from your cloud storage account.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
